Because these inflatables are normally inexpensive to buy, a professional repair rarely makes sense.  However, it does make sense to buy patching material and do the repair yourself!  Most decorative yard inflatables are made from a soft, thin nylon.  You'll need Tear-Aid Type A patching material.  The patching material is far more durable than the inflatable itself, so it is definitely a permanent repair.  Also, since the patching material is clear, you can put it on material of any color, and the repair will be discrete.
